My name is Sebastian Maldonado, and I’m a Sun Devil. I graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism on December 2012. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, with a concentration in electronic journalism. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from City University of New York, Borough of Manhattan Community College.

I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York on October 5, 1986. I was born in a family of sports fans dating back to my great-grandmother, an avid Yankee fan, who saw Babe Ruth in 1922, and it was only natural that I followed suit. Throughout my life, I have always been involved in sports. I have always been such a sport aficionado that at age five I was able to say “Dikembe Mutombo” correctly as well as knowing his position and the NBA team (Denver Nuggets) he played on. I started playing baseball when I was six and made it on a traveling team in Division-A Baseball.  I also played basketball and football as a kid and still continue perfecting my games.

My life-long love for sports has developed into covering and analyzing sports. Writing about sports is my passion and favorite past time. Thanks to my articles and blog posts, I now have that opportunity.
